Widespread agreement indicates that the U.S. will face
an estimated 2 million teacher vacancies over the next decade.
Studies in recent years have shown that there are at least
10,000 foreign educators employed in the public school system
in both primary and secondary schools. With the high attrition
rates and continuing growth in school enrolments, we need
to fill teacher vacancies to ensure our children are not
placed at a disadvantage.
The Educator Placement Program is designed to bring-in
qualified Filipino Educators to public or private schools
in the state of Texas, initially. It is an alternative solution
that aims to fill in gaps in educator shortages in America,
by recruiting and placing well-qualified and experienced
foreign-trained educators to temporarily work in the US
under the H-1B ‘specialty occupation’ nonimmigrant
visa.
Our program is not designed to prejudice the access of
local candidates to the educator job market. But rather,
it serves as a temporary measure to ensure teacher vacancies
are kept at a minimum while government programs continue
on their efforts in attracting individuals to enter and
remain in the profession. EPP was created to assist school
districts in locating and hiring the right people with qualifications,
experience and passion to remain in the occupation for at
least six years. This effectively decreases staff attrition
rate in the short to medium term, allowing school districts
to save on hiring, administrative, training and other costs.
And the most important advantage of all- we will facilitate
the recruitment and placing of a Filipino educator at absolutely
no cost to the school district.
Our company is focused on building a working partnership
with your school district, to ensuring that foreign teacher
placement is transparent, meeting all teacher certification
requirements of SBEC, and complying with all applicable
immigration laws, rules and regulations.
In general, there are four stages in the Educator Placement
Program:
